I have had the privilege of working with some amazing companies and clients over the last 11 years! Here are some samples of the marketing, copywriting, and content development work I’ve created for them.
Kamu Ultra Karaoke & Feel Noraebang
A good friend of mine that I have worked with at several of the same CBD and cannabis brands brought me into one of the most spectacular entertainment brands in Las Vegas. Kamu Ultra Karaoke is a unique venue in that it is the largest Korean Karaoke "Noraebang" in the United States. I joined the team as the Senior Copywriter and digital marketing strategist working on digital strategy, marketing operations, copywriting, and content developer. Along with Kamu, I am also the principle copywriter and digital content strategist for their sister venue Feel Noraebang in Los Angeles.
Site Redesign & Content
The first task where I could add value was to help redesign, optimize, and add SEO-driven content and copy. The redesign, new copy, and significant SEO changes I implemented has garnered 272K in organic search impressions, 8.7K organic clicks, and an avg CTR of 3.2%.
Email Marketing
After implementing a fresh CRM, email marketing operations began for the first time in the brand's existence. Luckily, I have extensive experience and managed in four deployments to achieve an average open rate of 23.5%, CTR of 4.6%, and $3500 in revenue.
Marketing Campaign Landing Pages
Taking the lead on establishing digital marketing campaigns allowed me to develop solid growth through running omni-channel promotions, SEM paid ads, SEO content, and organic strategy which led to $418K in quarterly revenue with 24% CTR growth month over month.
SEO Blog Articles
Part of the marketing strategy I helped develop included the production of SEO blog articles to consolidate and expand on the direct traffic to Kamu's digital property by starting content production. Here are just a few of the blogs I've developed which have helped increase direct traffic by 4%, user growth by 5%, and purchase growth by 32%. This growth attributes to over $141K in revenue in my first 90 days.
SummaForte
I had the pleasure of connecting with the amazing family behind one of the most innovative CBD brands in the midwest United States through a partnership with Creative Circle. At the time, one of the account managers reached out to me to get my opinion on the brand and to help her develop a services package for SummaForte. The result was a 10 month experience where I worked closely with their team to not only develop corporate and growth strategy, but a succesful build out of their digital infrastructure, 10 person marketing team, and increased sales growth.
Landing Pages
My first task upon onboarding with the SummaForte team was to audit and optimize the content across the digital infrastructure. This included redesigning and adding copy and media to the landing pages to ensure that the website had a proper funnel implemented for D2C sales. The result was increased ecommerce traffic by 150-200% month over month.
Product Display Pages
SummaForte's consumer facing digital property was accompanied by a Shopify store. In the course of my tenure I also optimized, updated, and helped redesign the product display pages. These efforts helped generate $32K in increased sales quarter over quarter.
Customer Education & Product Use Case
Because of SummaForte's market position, their products required education and use case demonstrations. Their three main product lines: SummaRest, SummaTape, and SummaMix were each targeted towards active recovery and performance for athletes. SummaTape in particular needed dedicated landing pages with content on how to use the CBD-infused Ktape. After implementing new designs and expanded copy, these pages attributed nearly 15K new users each month.
Curated SEO Blog Articles
After filling the gaps in the digital infrastructure and developing a strong corporate/digital strategy I set about turning on the content production. I coordinated with the CMO and hired 8 new members for the team for me to manage digital operations. Among them were a social media coordinator, 3 copywriters (which would write in tandem with my efforts as staff writer & editor), a graphic designer, paid search specialist, email marketing specialist, and project manager. Between myself and the 3 copywriters we produced over 40 SEO-driven blog articles and expanded SummaForte's content significantly over two quarters. This content directly attributed to over 51K impressions of direct traffic to the Ecommerce property with a dedicated CTR of 4.6%.
Hyhr Inc.
I was first introduced to the leadership team at Hyhr by referral from a friend. At the time I was completing work for another client Hyhr was just beginning their first round of VC raise and I had the chance to learn about their mission and vision. I was inspired by their plan for social equity and became further involved by joining their team. I had the opportunity to help craft their pitch deck, consult on strategy and partnership acquisition, and even help build their E-commerce infrastructure. I worked as the Director of Digital Marketing for the organization and headed up the creative department with a full team.
E-Commerce Platforms
From approximately July of 2021 through March of 2022 I had the opportunity to help stand up 2 E-commerce platforms for Hyhr. One platform focused solely as a recreational cannabis online marketplace and the other as a national Hemp CBD online marketplace. I generated the copy, content, and helped shape strategy for both platforms. I currently program direct both platforms in terms of customer acquisition and driving sales through promotions and omni-channel marketing campaigns.

Among my many duties as the Director of Digital Marketing, one of the primary roles I serve for the organization is as the senior copywriter on staff. Here are some of the blog posts that I have curated for Hyhr customers on our corporate blogs.
UI/UX Copy & Content
During my tenure as Digital Marketing Director I developed several landing pages to help create user acquisition. Here are just a few examples.
Product Display Pages
With any E-Commerce platforms it is vital to research and develop product display pages that are not only friendly to consumers but also optimized to rank well on search engines. For GoHyhr, there are several regulations and compliance reviews that go into PDP's. This is especially the case because Hemp CBD products are incredibly regulated on the national level. These product display pages were crafted to be SEO optimized and crafted in such a way that we could use this content in Google PPC campaigns.
Papa & Barkley
From February 2019 until March 2021 I worked as a lead copywriter and web developer for the very popular cannabis wellness brand Papa & Barkley. During that time I had the opportunity to embed myself into the marketing department and handle all of the copy and content needs for the brand. Most notably I was able to increase sight traffic from 12K to 40K unique visits per month over my tenure with the company. The content I created for the corporate blog required SEO research, content development, media asset creation, and writing. I was able to bring over 13 million verifiable impressions due to the posts I created. I also increased organic traffic to the three Ecommerce sites by approximately 1.5 million unique visits over 2 years. Among this collection of work you will find UI/UX landing pages I designed and wrote copy for product launches, product display pages that served as the purchase point for online customers, and marketing collateral that was not only used as advertising but for customer education, product catalogs, branding, and 3 E-Books that served as product specifications, product information, cannabis education, and science.
Curated SEO Blog Posts
When I started at Papa & Barkley, they had approximately 8 knowledge base articles. When I came aboard I used my expertise in SEO and content development to create a curated corporate blog. In total I wrote over 150 posts that served to educate customers about their products, as well as health and wellness surrounding cannabis and CBD. Many of these posts were written in tandem with the amazing Laine Hammer, my copywriting partner in the marketing department. Here are some of the choice posts we wrote together as well as some that I wrote before she joined the company!
UI/UX Copy & Content
These are just some of the landing pages that I helped develop during my time at Papa & Barkley. I was present for numerous product launches and was able to help craft everything from product display pages to UI/UX content. The content from these landers accounting for millions in online sales, brand awareness, and organic SERPS.
Marketing Collateral
In addition to crafting the copy that went into these pieces of marketing collateral I had the opportunity to create hundreds more. Many of these pieces were tied to broader marketing activations or omni-channel campaigns.
E-Books & Print
During my time at Papa & Barkley I had the opportunity to collaborate with the marketing team to create two long form content pieces in the form of an educational cannabis compendium and CBD compendium. I was the principal writer on the cannabis compendium and was one of two writers on the cbd compendium. Both compendiums are available in print & digital.
Care By Design
I had the opportunity to work for one of the leading cannabis and CBD brands in California under the umbrella of CannaCraft. At Care By Design I had the opportunity to craft numerous UI/UX landing pages, updates to their homepage, wrote the copy for all of their product display pages, and even helped launch their newest line entitled Effects.
UI/UX Copy & Content
Working in coordination with members of the Care By Design leadership team I was able to update the homepage copy and internal pages for their site. I also had the opportunity to launch their newest product line, where I crafted the copy and designed the UI/UX strategy and content for the landing page.
Product Display Page Copy & Content
Not many people know but product display pages, like other product content in the cannabis industry is highly regulated. As a result, every piece of content is reviewed by compliance and regulatory legal counsel before being pushed to production pages. In the case of Care By Design, this review process was already established so I gained further experience producing PDPs in coordination with legal. Visit their shop and click on any individual product to view the copy I crafted. Fun fact: they have 48 products- I was writing product copy for days!
E-Book & Print
Just like my time at Papa & Barkley I had the opportunity to coordinate with the CMO as well as a cannabis PhD scientist to create a long-form cannabis compendium to support sales, brand growth, and educate people about cannabis and CBD as well as Care By Design.
